In 3 RCR Mortar Platoon we called Doug the "Flying Doctor" one wing swept night in Germany in the middle of nowhere Doug talked in a wounded man in a personal carrier. Just using a flashlight and a radio Doug got the Al Fox into the medics for treatment. From then on we called him the Flying Doctor, he always seemed to like the nick name.
