Ernie from our classroom to the hearing room you impressed us all.  Always ready for your next case or venue and bags packed for foreign travel as well.  From an Italian bakery to the Canadian High Commision in India you left your mark.  I have so many stories to tell but not in this space, your collegues know of your many exploits and some really funney experiences in your varied career enforcing Canada's immigration laws.

Even after retirement your energy took you back to the border and the Bridge commission.  You were well known on the US end  and I remember some great laughs when, at your retirement party , a US agent told a story about you that had us in stitches.

Smooth travel fella, we will always remember and respect you.
