GILMORE, Gail M. (nee Walker) - After a lengthy illness on Sunday, March 11, 2018, Gail passed away at the Welland Hospital at the age of 75. Loving wife of Wayne for 51 supportive and dedicated years. Beloved mother of Mark (Kristine), Amy (George) and Jim (Laura). Adored grandma of Ryan, Kristen & Lauren, Kaden, Erica, Alessandro & Emma. Gail will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Survived by her brother John “Skip” Walker (Dawn). Predeceased by parents Bill & Mary Walker, her brother Bruce & Sister Lyne. Gail was a long-time member of the Niagara Weavers Guild and enjoyed many great memories with her friends there.
Cremation has taken place and family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2018 at St. John’s Anglican Church, 3428, Portage Road, from 10 AM- 12 PM with a celebration of her life to follow at 12 PM. A private inurnment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Niagara Falls Humane Society, The Kidney Foundation of Canada or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated. The family are very thankful for the compassionate care she received from many nurses and doctors.
