Life Story for John Mathias
MATHIAS, John - Passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of 57 years to Betty. Loving and cherished father of Lori Henry (Gary) and Lynn Browne (Keith Muir). Dear grandfather of Tiffany Hunter (Justin), Cody Henry, Crystal Browne and Linsey Henry. Great grandfather of Kaleb Hunter. Dear brother of Anne Reilly, Elizabeth Piette and Frank Mathias. Predeceased by his son Randy (1976), granddaughter Alyssa Henry (1987) and brothers Joe, George and Julie.
John was an electrician for 67 years, a member of I.B.E.W. Local 303.
Cremation has taken place. John’s family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street on Saturday, August 12th from 1-2 pm with a memorial service following immediately at 2. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Tender Wishes or to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morseandson.com.
