Life Story for Winifred Austin (Armstrong)

AUSTIN, Winifred – Passed away peacefully on July 31, 2017 at the age of 95 at Millennium Trail Manor. Loving wife of the late Emrys Austin. Beloved mother of Tevor Austin. Proud Nana of Elva. Dear sister of Raymond Armstrong (the late Marjorie). Sister-in-law of Joan Armstrong. Dear friend of Andrew Gaw. She will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brother Eric Armstrong. Winifred was born in Middlesbrough, England and emigrated to Canada in 1963. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Rolling Meadows Golf Club, Niagara Women’s Club and enjoyed her Seniors Tuesday 10 Pin Bowling. A memorial service, celebrating Winifred’s life will be held at 1:00 o’clock on Monday, July 30th, 2018 at Holy Trinity Church, Chippawa. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Tender Wishes.
