MARINELLI, Elvira (nee Pizzicarola) – Passed away in her 97th year, on Saturday April 21, 2018, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends. Loving wife of the late Antonio (1974). Beloved mother of Rita Morocco (the late Jack 2015), the late Dante (1997) (Maureen) and Alfredo. Cherished Nonna of Tina (David) and Anna (Ron). Adoring great-grandmother of Gabriel and Jacob. Survived by her sister-in-law Maria Pizzicarola and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Maria and Vincenzo Pizzicarola, sister Filomena Riccardi (Armando), brother Bernardo, sister-in-law Rosa Carlini (Luigi), Adele Marinelli (Antonio) and brother-in-law Alfredo (Assunta). Elvira enjoyed sharing her passion for cooking, gardening and conversation with the many family, friends and neighbours who visited her home often. Thank you to Dr. YK Chan and Dr. R. Aidoo and especially the nurses and staff at GNGH Brock Unit for their compassionate care. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann`s Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Donations to St. Ann`s Church or Tender Wishes would be appreciated.
