McIntosh, Gary K. – Gary passed away peacefully in his 86th year following surgery, surrounded by his loving family. He will be greatly missed by Shirley, his beloved wife of 65 years and his 3 daughters Debbie McIntosh (Scott Reynolds), Burlington, Donna McIntosh (Mike Somerville), Chippawa, and Diana Foster (Jeff Nevins), NF, 4 grandchildren Chris (Kat), Garrett (Gaby), Kallyn (Glen) and Marlee (Anthony) and 2 great-grandchildren Jase and Summer and his cat Sierra. Predeceased by his parents Fred McIntosh, Jean Quirie and brother Bruce McIntosh. Gary was born in Canora, Saskatchewan. After marrying Shirley, they moved to Niagara Falls. Gary worked for the Niagara Falls Fire Department for 27 years, retiring as a Captain in 1991. He shared his love of sports and animals with his family, and was a long time member with the YMCA.
As per Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME.
