Life Story for Ansel Wintle

Ansel  Wintle
WINTLE, Ansel G. - Ansel Wintle passed away peacefully at the Valley Park Lodge, at the age of 90 after a lengthy illness on January 20, 2018. He will be sadly missed by his wife Marjory (nee Auld) for 35 years. He leaves behind 4 sons and 2 step sons, David Boucock (Kelly) and Kevin Boucock. Survived by 4 brothers & 2 sisters throughout Canada, brother-in-law Winston Auld (Elaine) and many nieces, nephews & grandchildren. Ansel was born in Cumberland Mills, Quebec and was one of 9 children, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Ansel moved to Niagara Falls in 1966. He worked at Hayes Dana for 26 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Friendship Lodge #66 A.F. & A.M. of North Hately, Q.C. Ansel loved to play cards with his friends at Happy Hour at Stamford Lions Hall and visit the casino.
He is resting at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 10 A.M. – 11 A.M. with a service at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. Donations may be made to the local Alzheimer Society, Parkinson’s Niagara or Walker Family Cancer Centre. A special thank you to the staff at Valley Park Lodge for their loving and special care for Ansel over the last 14 months.
