GREENING, Rennie Forbes – December 5, 1929 – January 9, 2018
Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital, surrounded by love. Loving husband of Barbara for 63 years. Devoted father of Kenneth Greening (2010) (Cheryl) and Gail Howie (David). Cherished grandpa and papa to Ryan Greening, Alyson Geier (2012) (Jesse), Andrea Greening, Cynthia Stewart (Neil), David Jr. and Daniel Howie. Great-grandpa to Sophie and Lacey Geier and Nathaniel Stewart. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Rennie was employed with Weightmans Concrete, Ready-Mix and finished his career with Lafarge. He was employed with them for 40 years. A big thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Walker Family Cancer Centre and the Oncology Unit at SCG for their care.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Wednesday January 17 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
