Life Story for Louise Heximer (Blong)

Louise  Heximer (Blong)
HEXIMER, Mabel LOUISE, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29th, 2017. Louise and Ralph shared the same birthday, January 20, 1921 (1994) and were married for 49 years attending St. Stephen’s Anglican Church and later Christ Church. Predeceased by sons Peter (aged 2), Michael (2005), Gary (2014) and by daughters-in laws Jill (nee Mitchinson 2002) and Lana (nee Kinney Marion 2011), nephew Rick Heximer (2010) and close friend Gus Peters (1998). Her strength and fortitude was unshakeable, actively raising her beloved granddaughters Lauren (Nathan Medeiros) and Caitlin (James Murray).Her love of her life endures through her son Doug, her grandchildren John, Greg, Jennifer, Krista Young, Nisa, Aidan, Graham and Kyle Marion, 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and lasting surviving sibling from both families, Jeannette Ellingham. Singing, dancing, bridge, euchre, butter tarts and rum and Pepsi were the order of the day and a love for fishing in later years.
Thank you to Dr. Brunner and all the caring staff at Chartwell Chateau Gardens for their time and friendship. A special thank you to Nuala Fitzgerald for her love and support and prayers for my mom during her last days. Cremation has taken place with a private interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 4th 2018 at Morse& Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services to be held Friday, January 5th at 11 a.m. at Christ Church 4750 Zimmerman Ave., Niagara Falls with a reception to follow at the church hall..
In lieu of flowers donations can be to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the charity of ones choice.
