ARCARO, Angela – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing our mom Angela, surrounded by family at Millennium Trail Manor on Monday October 30, 2017 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Nicola (1994). Loving mother of Nicoletta (Mike) Cicchino, Gino Arcaro and Mario (Lina) Arcaro. Dear nonna of Nick (Josie), Mark (Jennifer) and Chris (Krista) Cicchino; Darren, Michael (Lauren) and Justin Arcaro; Angelo and Tia Arcaro (Chava Barahona) and bisnonna of Ana, Michael, Julianna, Madalynn, Emily, Audrey and Julian. Survived by her sister-in-law Dalia D’Uva and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Giovannina (Giovanni) Ferrara, Salvatore (Marietta) D’Uva, Antonio (Annina) D’Uva and Carmine D’Uva and in-laws Antonio (Maria) Arcaro. Angela came to Canada from Italy in 1961, settling in Port Colborne and lived in Niagara Falls for the last 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking and gardening.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil will be held 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. Rite of Committal with Entombment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Millennium Trail Manor would be appreciated.
