HUNTER, Joan - With wild flowers in her hands Joan passed peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, July 28, 2017, at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Hunter (2005). Loving mother of David Fiske (Heather), Feversham, ON, Michael Fiske (Sherry), Collingwood, ON, Jamie Hunter (Jackie), Charlotte, NC, Scott Hunter, Ridgeway, ON and Todd Hunter (Shigeno) Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. Dear mother-in-law of Tracy Hunter.
Cherished grandmother of Linda, Jeffery, Joel, Lisa, Kyle, Sarah, Alyssa, Rachael and great grandmother of many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Robert Klingender (Joanne) and Paul Klingender (Pat). Joan was active in the community of Niagara Falls and an avid gardener.
A garden party to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at the home of Todd and Shigeno Hunter, 191 Niagara St. Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Saturday, August 26, 2017, starting at 4 p.m. Donation in Joan’s memory to the Spinal Cord Injury Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
