Life Story for Eileen Reta Downey

Eileen Reta Downey
DOWNEY, Eileen Reta –
In loving memory
The pain is gone, the suffering has stopped except for those of us left behind with a hole in our heart and a lump in our throat.

We hoped you could get better and stay with us awhile…to talk and joke and laugh…we longed to see you smile.
But we were told that could never happen…
Pain is all we would see.
Now the pain is gone. Now you are set free.
We will hold onto our memories, the special times we had with you
They are all that we have left to help us to get through.
But knowing you are free, away from all the pain, will give us all some comfort until we meet again.

Dearly missed and forever loved by her devoted husband Ron Downey; daughter Lori Patterson (Bill Sanders), grandchildren Johnathan Rodgers (Kaity), Valerie Rodgers (Kevin Donovan), Paul Rodgers (Aissa Thomas), Angela Patterson; son Randy Downey (Donna McMahon), grandchildren Casey McMahon, Derek McMahon; daughter Jackie Linwood (Henk), grandchildren Amber Yacyshyn and Carlie Lynch; brother Stuart McGie (Karen), nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren Lylah, Xavier and Kahlan. A memorial service will be held for the family at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Sunday at 2 p.m.
