Life Story for Frances Grace Adams
ADAMS, Frances Grace - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Frances on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 89. Frances joins her husband Lorne (2008) in the arms of her Savior the Lord. Survived by her daughter Lorna (Tom) Read and son Dean, sister Jennie (late Harold) and sister-in-law Helen. She will be sadly missed by her best friends Shirley and Brenda, many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Marion MacLean, sister Katherine (Alexander), and brother Ernest. Frances was a long-time member of Southminister United Church and was involved in many of their activities. She also enjoyed baking, live theatre and classical music. A picnic by the water was always a highlight.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Frances’ life will be held at Southminster United Church, 6801 Hagar Avenue on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Southminster United Church, would be appreciated by the family.
