Life Story for Catherine Anne Gibson (Babcock)

GIBSON, Catherine Anne - It is with great sadness that the family has to announce the passing of Catherine (Cathy) Anne Gibson who passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday May 26, at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton at the age of 58. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Jane Babcock, beloved wife of Mike, a loving mother of Dave (Christina) and Rich. A cherished grandmother of Keenan and Rory, and dear sister of Lynda (Herb), Mike, and Mark. Cathy will be missed greatly by brothers-in-law and sister in-law Rich(Lori), Rob, Ted(Cheryl), Lou(Linda). She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews, Katie, Joey, Amy, Adam, Kyle, Colin, Josh, Amber, and Joel.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. on Wed May 31 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Cathy’s life will be held at St Thomas More Church 6548 Dorchester Rd. at 1pm on Thursday June 1. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Walker Family Cancer Center, and the Juravinski Cancer Center.
The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses involved in Cathy’s care.
