Life Story for Edith Mary Ainsley
AINSLEY, Edith Mary – Passed away peacefully at Meadows of Dorchester at the age of 97 on Monday April 17, 2017. Predeceased by her loving husband Lorne (Ted) Ainsley. She will be greatly missed by her children Bruce (Mari) Ainsley & Linda (Don predeceased) Saldarelli as well as her grandchildren Brittany, Brett, Christopher (Heather), Brandon (Niki Saint Angelo), Kristi (Nevin) Shearer, Kati, Kellsi & Kristopher. Edith also leaves behind her 2 great-grandchildren Quinn & Eden. Edith worked as an RN for over 30 years at the Niagara General Hospital and a devoted volunteer at Mount Saint Mary’s in Lewiston. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, golf, travel and fishing.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service and interment will be held graveside @ Lundy’s Lane Cemetery May 13, 2017 @11:00 AM family and friends are invited. Donations can be made to Heart and Stroke or a charity of your choice.
