COOK, Doreen (nee Mellon) (Mema) – Passed away peacefully at her home in Wellandport, ON on Sunday April 16, 2017 at the age of 70. Sadly missed by her daughter Laura (Mellon) and Scott MacDonald, grandson Micheal, great-granddaughter Shelby, daughter Lynda (Mellon) Kennedy, grandchildren Ryan and Dakota, daughter Tina and Terry Cook, grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Troy, Corey, Crystal, Tiffany, great-grandchildren Harley, Cooper, Dominic, Damian, Mercedes, Nevaeh, Payson, Karson, baby Nikolas and Elizabeth, son Tom Cook and the late Trudy Trites, grandchildren Jordan, Erin, Evan, Jamee, Shyanne and baby Summer, great-grandchildren Justin, baby Jazzmin (baby Trudy), son Shawn (Cook) and Lisa Thompson, grandchildren Bradley and Brody. Also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Best friend of Desi Collins and Cherry Gillis.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Friday from 5 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Cremation will follow. Donations to Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
